Hi Ross and Ian

A huge thank you for being the “icing on the cake” with regards to the success of the conference gala dinner. The English visitors were especially “blown away” by the ceilidh, your music and the creation of a happy atmosphere which people wanted to participate in. The testament to all your professionalism is the fact that the dance floor was full to the close of the event and done with what appeared to be ease but in reality is tricky and difficult- a sign of true professionals!

I, personally cannot thank you enough and in addition pass on the thanks of the other committee members.
Also thanks for helping with the “alternative entertainment” of the opera singer. The donations to save the children, once match pound by pound by another organisation and tax relief the total raised was £2,800!
There were a few disappointed ladies in the place though…….because they didn’t ge

t pick for the demonstration “lift”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would not be surprised, methinks from what I have heard, that there may be a few more events coming your way!!!! There is a big European Paediatrics Conference starting to be organised for Glasgow 2015……… and guess where a number of that organising committee were on Thursday 15th !!!!!!! CDs for then…they will sell like hot cakes!!!

Dear Kilter

We can’t thank you enough for playing for us on our wedding day at Glenbervie House, 29th July 2011. Kilter is certainly one of Scotland’s finest! You were second to none!! All our guests commented on how amazing you all were and the dance floor was full all night! We would certainly recommend Kilter to anyone looking for a modern ceilidh band with a difference. It made our day that extra bit special.

Dear Ross ( + the team),

Saturday was a day full of compliments for the Ball from all those who attended and I wanted to pass on to you everyone’s real enjoyment and enthusiasm for the ball and a huge part of that is down to you guys and how you get everyone up on that dance floor with your choices of music and dancing and of course expertise in playing. Kilter is a superb band and it really does make all the difference to me knowing that once you guys come on, I can join in the party too and enjoy the dancing as much as everyone else! So thank you so so much and for all the extra time you played for and the organisation and quick responses to e mails the week before. Brilliant! Will get confirmation of next year’s date at the next meeting in July and be in touch very soon.

Best Ceilidh Band Ever

Everyone kept saying how great the band were, some people said you were
the best ceilidh band they’d ever heard and everyone seems to have had a
good time and enjoyed the dancing so thank you very much!

Hi there,

Now that we are back from honeymoon and back to normality we wanted to
send you a mail to say thank you very much for your services at our
wedding. Everyone commented on how great you guys were and you really made sure
that the dance floor was busy all the time and an extra thanks to James
for being our piper during the day. You were fantastic.

I would definitely recommend you guys for any function.

We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and that we kept you entertained with
our dance off! (by the way, was the funniest thing I have ever seen
and was totally unplanned!).

Loved Every Minute!

I’ve been meaning to write to say a massive THANK YOU for playing at our
wedding! Loved every minute of it…..you’ll have heard that the groom
struggled a bit with the dances but he loved it too! Everyone said how
good the band were and very musically accomplished…..much more than just
a ceildh.

Hi Ross, the dust has finally settled on our wedding over a week after our big day and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks very much for all your help to make the day so special.

Everyone loved the ceilidh as you could hopefully tell from the full dancefloor, especially the mulberry bush which was a great idea that no one had done before.
